Our Story
       To Inform, Educate and Uplift the      minomer Negro, Blacks,  Colored Folks, African-Afro Americans and    Ethiopians; to which all these nick names (tags of scorn) was given to salves by slave’s holders in 1779. We are teaching the true religion of Islam; our true History to which has been removed from today’s history books and the importance of knowing your true Nationality to which our people today are in a state of voluntarily ignorance. We are keeping to the true tenets of the teachings of Prophet Drew Ali.

After the untimely death of our so beloved Prophet Noble Drew Ali on July 20th, 1929; there were several splits that were formed that were far from the true teachings and structure of The Moorish Science Temple of America. Presently The Moorish Science Temple of American -1928 under the present day leadership of Supreme Grand Sheik / Shaykh Ra Saadi El (Chief of Ministers); is the only true representation and continuation of The Moorish Science Temple of America founded by Prophet Drew Ali.

WHO IS A MOORISH AMERICAN MOSLEM?
In the United States of North America there is but one way to become a Moorish American Moslem although there are those who will state differently. The ultimate basis for their reasoning is that they didn’t join the M.S.T. of A. as prescribed by the Holy Prophet Drew Ali himself. So because now days, we have a multitude of persons calling themselves Moorish Americans, we shall closely examine the following set of basic questions:

1 Who is a Moorish American Moslem?
          2 Who can become a Moorish American Moslem?
          3 Are we Born Moorish American Moslems?
          4 Are Moorish American Moslems made?

        Now to those less lettered (educated) in Moorish law, and the Law of Nature that Allah entitled man to live by these questions may at first appear to be easy questions; so let us begin to address them:A Moorish American Moslem is a registered Member with an legitimate Moorish Science Temple of America.
​ They pay their membership Dues & Per Capita Tax
Holders of a Nationality Card issued by a legitimate Moorish Science Temple of America; fulfill their membership Duties and Obligations as outlined in the Moorish Divine Constitution and By-Laws (DCBLs) Only those (outlined in question #1) who adhere to Laws of the Divine Constitution and By-laws of the M.S.T. of A. can lawfully and rightfully become a Moorish American Moslem and be called such.

ARE YOU DESCENDENT FROM SLAVES?  No Matter Your Success, Fame or Future if you Do NOT have an Nationality and your not following the Divine Religious Creed of Your Forefathers you are classified as undesirable as the Dread Scott decision still exist for the Negro, Colored, African-Afro-American and Black persons. A slave could not be regarded as deficient for exercising rights, because a slave (who in law was not even regarded as a person) having no capacity to acquire the rights themselves, there could arise no question of his capacity to exercise them. To say you are a descendant from a slave is to say you are from nothing; as a slave had no power; no say; a slave was only given what its European slave holder gave him. To say that you are a descendant from a slave is to say you have no history other then what the slave holder gave you.

There are many individual who have reclaim their Nationality thought The Moorish Science Temple of America and those who are simply claim jumping to be a Moorish American by placing a Bey or El on their name.

​​If you would ask them how they came to know about Prophet Drew Ali you will mostly hear over the Internet; we of The Moorish Science Temple of America representing the original Grand Body of 1928; have always and will continue to advocate that the only way to learn about the Moorish Science Temple of America and its founder Prophet Drew Ali is to simply visit a legitimate Moorish Science Temple of America.

      One of the most profound speeches ever given by Prophet Drew Ali was the       "Divine Warning for The Nation”; this was a Divine warning to the Moorish Nation as many have only guessed at the sheer greatness of what our Prophet Drew Ali had  done for all Asiatic’s who are clinging to nick names that delude into  slavery;  that of Negro, Black Folks, Colored and African American.
