Taking up Membership within The Moorish Science Temple of America should never be taken lightly; as we are quite serious about who we are and what we stand for. It is well known that within this body of The Moorish Science Temple of America we turn down more persons then we accept. We are not nearly concern with quantity then we are with quality; it is about the character of a person; their sincere humbleness and honesty in wanting to be part of something extraordinary and exceedingly great. A person who truly wants to rid themselves out of the shackles of ignorance in living under an allusion of something made up out of scorn.
We ask that anyone who is interested in being a active Member within The Moorish Science Temple of America-1928; as the call for New Membership as our Prophet Drew Ali stated “If after hearing the reading of our Laws and attending a few of our meetings; if you believe that they are not to strenuous or restrictive to you then please step up and join The Moorish Science Temple of America...
• The Membership Dues is $63.00 a month and $10.00 Per Capita Tax. Total ($73.00 a Month).
..and if you do not have the money step up and get your card as being just to the Temple and to yourself in paying it later in the month.”
We are not under the same economics dictates of the 1920’s which was the time era of our Beloved Prophet Drew Ali. We based our Membership dues at a cost which is quite minimal if based upon today’s economy; we do welcome any and all donation to The Moorish Science Temple of America as it will take great finance to build our Nation and every bit helps. The Dues is a very small amount compare to what we spend on naught. Our Moorish Nation cannot nor will not flourish on $2.00 a month dues as some Moorish Temples would have its Members pay; how ridiculous and disrespectful to place such a minuet value on something that is priceless. All Membership Dues helps to keep the basics mechanics of our Temples operational.
Shahatian – (Declaration of Faith) Act 6 of The Moorish Science Temple of America Divine Constitution and By Laws; as each New Member must proclaim their free National Name and Religious Creed before the face of said Congregation. All members must adhere to all Laws within the MSTA Divine Constitution and By Laws. ACT 6. - With us, all members must proclaim their Nationality and we are teaching our people their Nationality and their Divine Creed, that they may know that they are a part and a partial of this said government, and know that they are not Negroes, Colored Folks, Black People, or Ethiopians, because these names were given to slaves by slave holders in 1779 and lasted until 1865 during the time of slavery, but this is a new era of time now, and all men now must proclaim their free national name to be recognized by the government in which they live and the nations of the earth, this is the reason why Allah the Great God of the universe ordained Noble Drew Ali, the Prophet to redeem his people from their sinful ways. The Moorish Americans are the descendants of the ancient Moabites whom inhabited the North Western and South Western shores of Africa.

Do You Know.....
That many Moorish American who joined other MSTA Temples cannot explain their Moorish Nationality Card. Many would go as far to say that there is a typo on the card just because they cannot explain the question below.
Many Moorish Americans in other MSTA Temples cannot explain their own Moorish Nationality as well as their religion of Islam. Please note that on a legitimate Moorish Science Temple Nationality Card there is no mention of Moses nor Jonah as both of these men were hypocrites. It was stated in a letter written by Prophet Drew Ali that there are Jonahs within the Temple as they have become hypocrites to the movement. Many Moorish Americans have no idea about the True teachings and history of Prophet Drew Ali; as they will simply guess. Were you seem to have more questions then answers.

Before you join up with any group do your research meet them face to face see what they own; meet the Women within their Temple; look for Brothers having a wife and taking care of his Children. Have them show you what benefit they have been to society. Look at their track record; how long they been active and what works have they done on a National scale that is even recognized by other reputable companies, organizations and locale state and federal agencies. Visited their Temples and sit with the leadership; see and hear for yourself.
Why do persons defend a bad position? Its the only position they have. We ask why do they then remain in such a place that will not feed your mind, body or soul ?

We are working towards building a gated Moorish Islamic Ummah were our homes are fixed within communities we own; were our families will be free of worries about getting their homes foreclosed or being evicted due to lack of finance.
We are presenting a general outline to what we are building towards; we are open in accepting donations to help us along in seeing this project completed. Our Prophet Drew Ali said In His Historical Message to America “That problems of life are largely social and economic”; which is the very reason we need to build our own communities and economical base. We are about the works and not the lip services.

All members must attend their meetings as outlined within The Moorish Science Temple of America Divine Constitution and By Laws handed down by Prophet Drew Ali.
