“Sisters Circle of Islam” was created with the love of all humanity within the faith of Islam that the most perfect singular idea that there is no God but Allah; and to He alone belongs all praises. As a Moslem women I have personally seen and experienced biased within the faith of Islam here in America because of different Islamic teachings, customs, practices and traditions; as many Islamic Ummah’s will not embrace another Islamic Ummah just because their Islamic ways are different. Whether a believer is Sunni, Shiite, Islamic Sufi, Nation of Islam, or a Moorish American Moslem we are fully in agreement and believe there is no God but Allah; as it is only Allah who is to judge were we differ. Our customs and tradition can not alter the nature of truth; as Islam means peace and to be in Peace with yourself, others, and your surrounding is to be in peace with Allah; He gives understanding and guidance to those who has accepted Islam as a way of life. As Sisters in Islam we should embrace and share our love for Allah in coming closer in our understanding and embracing each other.
Islam has been viewed badly and expressed as a religion of evil by outsiders; as the division within Islam gives fuel to many misconceptions about our faith. Sister Circle of Islam has taken a loving bold and daring step as to embrace all those who love Allah and not to judge unfavorably someone who views or express their faith of Islam differently; but to circle our love around each other in educating, informing and uplifting in things that are of great concern to us as Women, Daughters, Mothers, Wives, Sisters, and Friends.
We welcome our Sisters too share in the One love we have for Allah.

Islam Sisters!!! We welcome you to our Site Tell us about You and whats on your mind.Peace & Love
No one would argue that the world is noisier these days than it has ever been, in some cities and countries reaching almost intolerable decibels. What doesn’t assault our ears, offends our eyes. Uninvited drama coworkers, friends and family; stress over the job, bills, school, relationships, health and just living. Seeing the unrest over the internet; people still being laid off, folks still losing their homes, and crime is steady rising.
In addition, what we see, hear and read about the happenings in the world and within our communities is horrifying beyond words. The media shows filmed reports, over and over again, of acts of violence and catastrophic events that have caused pain and suffering. Where can we go to find peace? How can we get there from here? Peace can be found within each of us, at the still, quiet core of our being; it is a state of mind. And the way to get there is through spiritual meditation (silent prayer).
By closing our eyes, and turning away from the world, we find what seemed unknowable and elusive, but was there all the time…peace. As we slow the pace of our breathing and allow our body to relax… we find peace. As we slow the hyperactivity of our thoughts, until they seem to gently drift, like falling leaves, and then settle into quietness…we find peace.
Prayer meditation clarifies and purifies every cell, fiber, and tissue of our being. Therefore, it is spiritual healing. The babble of our mind momentarily stops with the type of meditation. In this way, it can be revealing. As our bodies have a way of healing its self like when you get a cut your skin quickly gears it self up are starts healing it places a scab a hard crust of dried blood, serum, or pus that forms over a wound during healing to regenerate new skin. So if our physical body can heal so can our spiritual body; we just have to slow the flesh down well we speed up the vibration of our meditation.
The constrictions of body and mind vanish when we meditate in this way, and they often do not reappear when we open our eyes and move out into the world again. The peace that we have experienced within assumes the form of our actions.
It is, perhaps, more important than ever for every one of us to meditate — to bring forth peace in ourselves and, in that way, bring peace to the world. As to know Allah is to know Peace
Working together for a Greater Purpose….
• Opening lines of communications among Sisters In Islam. As Moorish American Moslem we do not adhere to many different schools thought within our Circle that would lead to stagnation and confusion. Our goals are the same as in being one with our Creator (Father God-Allah). As we do open ourselves to embrace other Sisters within the faith of Islam we holdup more the spiritual aspect of our Faith then our customs, traditions and our school of thought. As we are not to impose our beliefs and understanding of our faith of Islam on anyone; we are simply opening our arms to embrace all Sisters who share in the greatness of all loves the one love to Allah.
• Bringing the influence and the leadership of Sisters In Islam from a Moorish Perspective into the traditional Sufi gatherings; as embracing other Sisters within the faith of Islam.
• Taking active and leadership roles within our community and interfaith organizations.
• Working with diverse communities services programs such as Battered Women, Substance abuse programs, Women Prisons, Mentoring, and more.
• Providing Sisters In Islam classes in meditation, positive holistic health, cooking, sewing, gardening, crafts, book clubs, parenting skills, etc.
• Sisters In Islam accomplishments in arts, literature, poetry, teachings, the development of annual Islamic Sufi Sisters Symposium meetings.
